Miglior periodo per il vento: Dalla tarda primavera all'inizio dell'autunno, con la Breva che garantisce sessioni pomeridiane costanti.

Direzione del vento: Breva da sud nel pomeriggio (costante e termica) e Tivano da nord al mattino presto (leggero e rafficato).

Descrizione: Sorico La Punta è uno dei migliori spot sul Lago di Como per gli sport acquatici grazie alla spiaggia sabbiosa, alle acque basse e ai venti termici affidabili. È un'ottima area di allenamento per principianti e uno spot sicuro e divertente per intermedi ed esperti che vogliono perfezionare le loro abilità. La Breva, con direzione side-onshore, è costante e facile da gestire, perfetta per kitesurf, windsurf, wingfoil e parawing. I venti settentrionali occasionali (come il Tivano o il Ventone) possono essere forti ma sono generalmente rafficati e meno adatti al kitesurf.

Accessibilità: Situato nella riserva naturale del Pian di Spagna, lo spot è leggermente fuori dalla strada principale ma raggiungibile in auto. Il parcheggio è limitato, specialmente durante la stagione di punta, quindi è consigliabile arrivare presto.

Accesso all'acqua: La spiaggia sabbiosa e le acque basse con una pendenza dolce rendono l'accesso facile e sicuro. Questo setup è particolarmente vantaggioso per principianti che imparano la partenza dall'acqua o per esperti che vogliono allenarsi vicino alla riva.

Noleggio e scuole: Anche se a Sorico le opzioni di noleggio e scuole sono limitate, nelle vicine Colico o Gera Lario si trovano infrastrutture migliori per attrezzatura e lezioni. Si consiglia, se possibile, di portare la propria attrezzatura.

Consigli locali: Circondato dalla bellezza naturale della riserva del Pian di Spagna, lo spot offre un ambiente tranquillo. Nonostante occasionali affollamenti sulla spiaggia, l'atmosfera è amichevole e accogliente. È una meta preferita non solo dagli appassionati di sport acquatici ma anche dalle famiglie in cerca di una giornata rilassante sul lago.

Note stagionali: I venti termici sono più affidabili tra aprile e settembre, con temperature dell'aria che vanno dai 15 ai 35°C e temperature dell'acqua dai 9 ai 23°C. Nei mesi più freddi è comunque possibile praticare con l'attrezzatura adeguata, anche se le condizioni possono risultare più impegnative. In inverno, occasionalmente, può esserci neve sulla spiaggia (gennaio e febbraio).
